Just outside Ta’ Lorenzo’s main door, you step into the square where you may sit on a bench in the sun and observe the early morning village life. The Parish Church just opposite our property is also worth a visit. Inside you may see many riches generated over time. The Parish Church is named after the patron Saint; “Saint Lawrence”

Your eye may also catch a red old telephone booth just next door. This booth has been turned into a reading library. One may borrow a book and read on the bench of the peaceful square. Don’t forget to return the book when you are done with it.

In the same square there is a general store, the traditional one-man Gozitan grocery. Somehow, in this little hole, you find all the necessary essentials you may need during your stay at our farmhouse or B&B. On the left side there is another traditional place. This time it’s a typical bar where you can have a nice cold drink (or two) while sitting outside under their umbrella. Opposite this bar, there is one of Gozo’s best restaurants; “Tatitas by Verve” which serves fresh fish which would have just been delivered by the Gozitan fishermen.

A 20 minutes walk towards the south, (the main road opposite the Church), there is the Gozitan crafts village which we do recommend. Here you may see the old crafts being made with the traditional machinery and tools.
